OnDemand
Charter’s OnDemand service was recently enabled at my apartment, and I love it. I already had all the movie channels but I rarely watch the movies because I don’t catch them when they start. That’s why I love OnDemand so much. I can watch tons of movies whenver I want, for free! (Well, for the price of my subscription to all the movie channels.) I was just about to cancel my movie channels because I never took advantage of them. Now because of OnDemand, I don’t mind paying for them. I’ve especially been into the Band of Brothers series from HBO. Good stuff!!
I was suprised to see the new OnDemand option too in the guide. No announcement or anything from Charter, it just showed up one day. Nice to have another option especially for summer when there isn’t much to watch.
Would be a great service if it worked… I have tried to watch many movies with every one locking up in the middle, only being able to restart it from the beginning. Most of the shows freeze more than just once. Thought it might just be the digital box, but it happens on both of my boxes. I thought it was awesome as well when I first discovered this feature, but the aggrevation outweighs it all.
