Self-Restraint

6:30 pm

I recently saw a guy talk on TV about how Americans these days lack self-restraint. We just do whatever seems ok for ourselves without thinking about what’s right or without thinking of the consequences, even if it is something selfish or immoral. He said that some of the reality TV shows are examples of this. People just don’t seem to have the same morals that they used to just a few years ago. What do you think about this?

Like the guy in Bay City who recently cut off some guy’s hands with a samurai sword during a fight in the street? I think that could be filed under lack of self-restraint. He had the whole trip hoime to get the sword and the trip back to restrain himself. but nooooo… he felt like dismembering something so he did.
