Ex-neighbor aiming for 2008 Olympics

1:14 am

Jacob Koczman, an old neighbor of mine who moved away about 8 years ago, tried out for this year’s Olympics and got 8th place in the 800-meter. He won’t be in this year’s Olympics, but he is going to aim for the 2008 Olympics. Check out the article I came across.

I lived in Sweden as an exchange student and dated a girl named Karin Furuhed. She competed in the LA summer olympics as a relay swimmer. Kind of cool spending time with someone with that level of skill and dedication. That was way back in ‘84 and I still remember her more than any of the other people I met. I like the site look to. Welcome to the world of WordPress.

That’s real cool that you knew someone who actually competed in the Olympics. And thanks, Deke, for the “welcome”… Still trying to work a little on the design of the site.

I can honestly say that I have never met anyone that has gone to the olympics… well at least not in a personal basis… that would be kind of cool.
